Volunteer With Innovate Ione

There are lots of ways to get involved with Innovate Ione, and you don’t have to commit to a set schedule to make a difference.

Whether you want to help once, volunteer for a particular event, lend a hand seasonally, become a regular volunteer, or be someone we can call when extra help is needed, we’d love to hear from you.

Volunteer opportunities are available throughout our programs and community events, including:

Rapid Food Rescue

Food sorting and packing, distributions, deliveries and pickups, food rescue, storage and organization, emergency response, and on-call salvaged wildlife assistance.

Ione Farmers & Artisan Market

Market setup and cleanup, information and community booth assistance, market activities, promotion, and general market-day help.

​

Holiday Smiles Project

 

Client check-in, gift sorting and organization, helping families find items for their children, decorating, setup, cleanup, and distribution support.

Hwy 31 Yard Sale

 

Helping promote sign-ups, assisting participants with getting their locations on the map, organizing map information, and distributing flyers.

​

Slora Boat Races – Vendor Coordination

 

Vendor check-in, vendor placement, vendor-area signage, setup support, and helping keep the vendor area organized.

Innovate Ione Community Projects

 

Community events, outreach, fundraising, promotion, photography, decorating, setup and cleanup, administrative help, donation collection, and other projects throughout the year.
